HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE WEDDING?
Use the Wedding Registration form to tell us what room type and other services you need. You can also opt to call us directly. Once you've registered and selected your services, you will receive an invoice with a link to a payment agreement.
WHEN ARE PAYMENTS DUE?
A deposit equal to 50% of your room total is due by April 15, 2019. The Final Balance is due July 15, 2019.
CAN I SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes! You have 3 options:
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Any deposit or payments made towards bookings as part of wedding groups are fully refundable if requested in writing to [email protected] by July 15, 2019. If a cancellation request is not made in time, all monies paid towards travel will be non-refundable.
IS TRAVEL INSURANCE AVAILABLE?
Travel Protection is available and highly recommended. A travel protection policy can be added at any point; however, in order to receive the full benefit of the travel insurance/protection policy, you must add it within 14 days of your first booking deposit. Otherwise, some benefits, such as the preexisting condition waiver benefit may not apply. Please note that once purchased, a travel protection/insurance policy is nonrefundable. WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! A passport book is needed to fly to and from the U.S. to the Dominican Republic. Please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. Check the US State Department website at this link for more passport information.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH ROUND-TRIP RESORT TRANSPORTATION?
Your room rate includes round trip shared transportation to and from the Iberostar Bavaro Suites resort. If you would like to upgrade to private transportation please contact us.
IS THERE A TOURIST VISA FEE?
US citizens do not require a visa to travel to the Dominican Republic.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?
Punta Cana is blessed with a tropical sun year-round, so expect an annual warm climate with the hottest temperatures occurring in summer June- September. Hurricane season starts in June and continues through November. The Dominican Republic is located in the Caribbean hurricane zone and peak season in the Punta Cana area usually occurs in September and October. October averages about 4 inches of rain across about 7 days. Despite this rainfall Punta Cana enjoys an average of nine hours of sunshine every day in October. So make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen because the breeze makes it easy to forget just how hot and strong the sun really is!
DO I NEED AN ADAPTER FOR MY ELECTRONICS?
You usually do not need an adapter for your electronics; the outlets in the Dominican Republic will typically accept U.S. plugs.
WHAT IF I WANT TO BOOK EXCURSIONS?
You can check out a sample of the excursions available at this link. However, if there are other activities that you are interested in please give us a call and let us know what you'd like to do, what date, and how many guests are participating and we’d be happy to make the arrangements if possible.
CAN YOU HELP ME BOOK AIR TRAVEL?
If you are using airline awards we are unable to assist with flights. Otherwise, we’d be more than happy to assist with flights. If you need flight assistance, please call us, or be sure to include the proper information on each form, such as; your travel dates, departure airport, number of people traveling, and any special requests. Please also be sure to review important details regarding air travel.
CAN I BOOK ON MY OWN IF I FIND A CHEAPER ROOM?
No. The couple asks those planning to attend their wedding ceremony and reception to please book one of the rooms that they have worked diligently to reserve and contract for you. Please keep in mind that our room prices include round trip airport transfers and all taxes and fees as well as a gift for the couple and some of the wedding activities.

- You can make a deposit using the payment form and then let the balance charge automatically on the final balance due date.
- You can make a deposit in January using the payment form and pay the balance in 6 equal monthly payments with final payment to be charged on the final balance due date.
- You can make a deposit using the payment form and then make additional payments whenever you’d like using the “make payment” page. If there's any balance left, it will be charged automatically on the final balance due date July 15, 2019.
