Important Details Regarding Air Travel
• Electronic Tickets - Unless otherwise noted, your flights are issued electronically.
• Advance check-in/boarding passes - Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. This is out of our
control. It is highly recommended to check in 24-48 hours prior to departure directly with the airline to ensure your flights are as scheduled. At this time you may print your boarding pass, have an opportunity to purchase or change your seat assignments, verify baggage restrictions and fees if applicable.
• Airport arrival - With heightened security it is very important you arrive and check into your flight 3 hours prior to your
departure time. It is also important to be at your gate 90 minutes prior to departure. All airlines have the authority to deny boarding if you are not at the gate in sufficient time. If you are denied boarding it will be your responsibility to purchase new tickets and/or pay fees applied by the airline.
• Baggage Fees - Airline-imposed baggage fees, due at the airport, may apply. Please consult the airlines operating your flight prior to departure for the latest fees (i.e. if your flight is United operated by Lufthansa, fees will need to be verified with Lufthansa.) Flights within a country/continent can have different baggage restrictions than international flights between the US and your destination so it is important to check each carrier's baggage restrictions prior to flying.
• Mileage/Frequent Flyer Programs - Although we accept frequent flyer numbers, most of our fares do not qualify for mileage accrual or upgrades using your miles. Please check with your mileage plan directly for the exact requirements and restrictions.
• Code-share Flights - Many airlines have formed joint alliances and care should be taken over which airline you should check into. The actual airline you will be flying is noted on your itinerary.
• Seat Assignments - We do our best to confirm seats of your choice. Some airlines do not permit advance seating or do not have seating available. Sometimes confirmed seats and terminals change due to airline equipment changes. We advise you to reconfirm your seats upon check-in.
• Flight delays - If you experience flight delays during your trip, work directly with the airline to be rescheduled on the next available flight, then contact us whenever possible so we can try and advise the local vendors of the delay. Since these delays are beyond our control we cannot guarantee that you will receive all of the services you have booked with us. We offer no refund on lost services due to these delays and we encourage you to purchase trip insurance to cover you for such delays.
• Hazardous Materials Regulations - Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years' imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples: Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles, and radio-pharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. Hotel Special Requests
We do our best to accommodate special requests and advise the hotel accordingly. However special requests (such as
adjoining rooms, quiet rooms, etc.) cannot often be guaranteed.
City Tax
Some cities and municipalities charge a city tax on hotel stays, which is charged upon check out. This tax is paid directly to the hotel, and cannot be prepaid. The taxes vary by hotel category and city, and may change at any time based on local legislation.
